Pre-Junior Classes & Programs
(5 - 7 year olds)

 

Pre- Junior classes are now accepting students for 2016. KITB has developed this challenging program suitable for early primary school age students. 

Pre-Junior Programs aim to train students in the technical elements of dance and to excel students in a disciplined class environment. Pre-Juniors can choose to enjoy performance opportunities like our end of year concert, variety nights, discos and more.  

 

Classes may be taken individually or in conjunction with other recommended KITB Classes.

 

Jazz

Pre-Junior Jazz Class Breakdown:
* Technical Warmup and Stetch *  Jazz 

 

This Class has a focus on Technique and developing students with strengths in all facets of the class. 

 

Kidz in the Biz Innovative Programs develops discipline, dance technique & confidence.

 

 

Hip Hop

This Class is high energy and filled with urban choreography. At this level, Students are introduced to Hip Hop Foundations and are encouraged to bring their attitude !

 

 

Singing

Group Singing classes  are taught by accreddited and registered singing teachers at Kidz in the Biz. Singing Classes develop childrens confidence, breathing, vocal control, microphone technique, harmonies and performance quality. Suitable for students beginner to advanced.

Students have several performance opportunities throughout the year.

 

Private Singing lessons are also available for advanced students. 

 

Drama

Drama & acting classes at Kidz in the Biz promote creativity, individuality, confidence, teamwork and friendship, Students work with their acting coach on age appropriate activities and exercises with acting and audtiointechniques for film,TV and theatre. Students perform at the KITB Drama Showcase each year.

Acrobatics

 

Kidz in the Biz Acrobatics Classes work to develop strong foundations and extend students with new tricks.

 

Classes are based on ability, however skills may include  strengthening & flexibility exercises, rolls (forward and back), hand stands, cartwheels (two and one handed), round offs  (two and one handed), jumps, flips, baranis, somersaults, aerials (forward and side). 

 

All our acrobatics students must undertake a jazz class with us at KIDZ IN THE BIZ.

Examination ( Jazz, Tap & Ballet )

 

Students at this level may also undertake ballet, modern ( jazz) and tap examination classes.

 

Classes are conveniently run on a weekday afternoon. 

 

Examination Classes are graded according to age and ability and commence at beginner levels. These classes are suited to students who are committed, disciplined and looking for external examination certification. 

 

Boys in Dance at Kidz in the Biz 

 

Kidz in the Biz  hip hop classes works to develop  Hip Hop and BBoy foundations.  

Students will learn the latest Bboy & Hip Hop Choreography and Tricks.
