Whilst striving for excellence is at the heart of KITB.. it's how it's achieved. The kids have extraordinary energy and positivity towards eachother with newer and younger kids feeling like "they've come home". No matter what your level of ability, everyone has the opportunity to shine.  Who creates this environment.. Ms Mel and Ms Keira. Their steely determination mixed with "everready battery" energy and "hard work" ethic is exceptional. Hard work redefined with ..countless song/dance performance opportunities, "wow"costume designs, "first to arrive and last to leave", performances/eisteddfods..driving our kids to believe in themselves..and the kids love it!

 

As parents, we hope that all their "teachers" can inspire them to believe..our kids have two.. in the words o Aristotle.."Those who educate children well are more to be honoured than they who produce them ;for these only gave them life, those the art of living well.

 

The standing joke in our family, and possibly in all our KITB families, when we suggest that we're happy to stop at anytime..she has this crazy look and says "mum are you mad.. I love it too much". Like all of life's challenges, when we are made to feel special and cared for, as our kids are, we excel beyond our expectations.  Someone tells "you can do it" over and over again you believe it..our kids absolutely shine. 

 

The journey for all..Ms Mel and Miss Keira, the kidz and parents is long at times.. however seeing them so "crazy" happy, loving performing and loving each others friendships.. how can we not celebrate!

I have seen my daughter develop a love of dance which is fostered by the studio and their teachers as well as the other kids at the studio.

My daughter is only 6 but because of the  genuine love of dance environment, she taps, and dances all day everyday. Whether it be doing the splits while she eats dinner or tapping her feet while I brush her hair.

I will be enrolling my other two daughters as soon as they are old enough to start. Not just because of the awesome dance teachers but the environment of the studio. It reinforces discipline as well as showing respect for other students and creating great friendships. My son has been attending Kidz in the Biz for four years now. During that time he has been trained in every genre of the performing arts from tap, ballet and jazz through to singing, musical theatre, hip hop and much more.  His confidence as a performer has been further developed by the wide variety of performance opportunities that he has been involved in to include the Royal Easter Show, Showcase Dance Championships on the Gold Coast and performing at Carols in the Domain.   

Each child at KITB - boy or girl - is treated as an individual and given the best opportunities available to shine!  The environment is nurturing and encouraging and this is displayed by all the staff, dance teachers and the kidz themselves.  If you are looking for a studio to bring out the 'Billy Elliott' in your son this is the place to go x

These guys are the most professional studio around and its evident in their students- they are amazing and win every eisteddford by miles. If you want your child to have a chance at making dance their career then this is the place. And I see their former students pop up on tv and in professional musicals all the time.

My Sister and I have trained at Kidz in the Biz  throughout our entire high school years and I honestly couldn't think of a better place begin and start  any week. Our parents and students ( whether your an actor,singer or dancer)are so amazing, making our experience so great! Over the years,  we have received opportunities like travelling around Australia, and being seen on television dancing singing, and acting !
